Dear Reader,

I apologize for the late entry of the latest chapter of CalDug’s Fantastic Journey which is titled “The Lie That We Live”. If you have not yet read Part 1: ‘The Red Pill or Blue Pill?’ I suggest you go back and do that first. So, are you ready for Part 2: Adam? Then continue on reading…

It was a cold, silent night and the stars were shining ever so brightly…I had taken this tour package to see the Northern Lights which was best viewed in Fairbanks, Alaska…or so was I told…I had never seen this Aurora Borealis before which is in fact its common name but I guess I was about to fulfil a long-time dream of mine…one more item to cross off the bucket list eh…Well, being in this cold climate of Alaska, I couldn’t help but wonder, was this the moment I’ve been waiting for all my life? Was this fate or coincidence? Heck, I didn’t know what to think, or what I was sure of anymore…One thing I was sure of though was that everything was about to change…What we considered to be the truth was about to be exposed…and it was going to have the biggest impact on what people adhered to as living…And this definitely has nothing to do with the Northern Lights…no, that is merely a coincidence why I am here…You see, the real purpose of me being here is too meet up with a certain individual…someone who has been a victim of circumstance for so long…the importance of what his parents discovered long ago…and the true reason of his existence…I am about to meet up with Caleb Duggins, a.k.a CalDug….And he is about to know that I, Adam Alzen, is going to reveal to him the secret that is going to alter his destiny…He will come to realise that he was never alone, that I was always watching, and when the time was right, and he was ready for the truth, I will be the one to unveil it to him as entrusted to me by his deceased parents…It was now my turn to make my move…

I had just gotten off the plane which landed in Fairbanks International Airport, Alaska…and let me tell you, it was freezing…I’m not much of a fan of cold weather, but if it wasn’t for the northern lights, I wouldn’t be here in the first place…It had been a dream of mine to see the spectacular lights since I was a kid, and my parents, while they were still alive said they would take me to see it after I finished high school…well, you know how that turned out, so I guess I have to do that on my own now…Anyway, here I am, fulfilling a long overdue wish list alone and equipped with a high-end DSLR Nikon Camera hoping that I don’t miss a thing and capture memorable moments, especially the aurora lights during my stay at Fairbanks…

I was starving when the plane arrived at the airport, which was quite small but very clean, and so I decided to grab a bite there…The Local @ FAI, which was the name of the café had some delicious sandwiches I had ever tasted before, the beef brisket and turkey sliders just to name a few…While indulging in my food, I did notice some people staring at me, to the point of making eye contact, but I just ignored them thinking it was just a coincidence…After finishing my dinner, I decided to grab a latte at Starbucks before taking a cab to my hotel…I was exhausted and needed to sleep…for tomorrow was going to be a big day full of surprises…And looking back now, it was indeed to be a day of revelations and astonishments, as you will come to know as what I’ve experienced not just the Northern Lights, but discovering my true destiny….To be continued in Part 3 of the Lie That We Live

Until then, may the truth set you free…
